Favorite Skin Care Product for winter

Hi guys, something that “eats” skin sounds pretty scary, but in fact it may be the gentlest approach to facial exfoliating. Dermagist skin care are now being formulated with enzymes from fruits like papaya and pineapple that digest the protein material which comprises the skin’s outer layer, instantly rendering skin suffer and smoother, says Mark Rubin, clinical instructor of dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. And though the same effects can also be achieved mechanically, with a facial scrub, or chemically with alpha-hydroxyl acids (AHAs) which dissolve the “glue” that binds dead skin cells, enzymes are a non-abrasive alternative particularly well suited for sensitive skin. The anti-aging downside to enzymes is that don’t appear to yield any stimulating affects on the cells that produce collagen, the material that gives skin structural support. Still, when skin is extremely sub-damaged, enzymes help clear the way for penetration of such remedies as Re tin-A (which is known to spur collagen) or AHAs. Furthermore, enzyme-enriched products are being used both pre-and post-peel, initially to help produce a more even “burn” and then afterward to minimize the flakiness that can last several days to several weeks, depending on the strength of the peel.

Keep a record of which magazines

Keep a record of which magazines are appropriate for different kinds of write-ups. Some specialize in reviews, while others go for feature stories. Some have sections that focus on new artists, some review gigs. Be aware of what you’re after before you send out your material. It makes targeting publications a lot easier. Newspapers cover a wider realm. If you’re trying to get written up in one, decide where you think your story would fit best. Is it a human interest angle, a review, or promotion for an upcoming show? There are so many directions to go with a newspaper that sometimes the hardest part can be deciding where to try. Free newspapers are often more accommodating about doing a story or review. Newspapers might be more likely to give you a write-up of a show or event than a magazine. It’s often simply a matter of luck.
